Nipsey Hussle Freebie

On March 31, 2019, Nipsey Hussle, a famous rapper from South Central Los Angeles, CA was gunned down in front of his Marathon clothing store while helping former inmates transition into life outside of prison walls, and just a day before his mediation conference where he was  brokering peace between gang members and the local police.  It’s a tragedy that will haunt the city of Los Angeles for some time to come.

This my favorite song by Nipsey Hussle thus far.


It’s a beautiful song about upleveling your life rather than being a victim of circumstance. It’s about changing your mental environment even when you cannot change your physical environment. I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I have.

While he was here, Nipsey Hussle was known for his wise words. Take a look at these two interviews below:

 

 

His untimely death has left a scar in his community as well as communities all over this nation.

His mother gave a beautiful dedication to him.  You can watch it below.

The funeral service was streamed online.  It was not about the dead, but more so about the living.  It also offers a lot about his life and the legacy that he is leaving behind.
